Growing up in New Orleans as the oldest of five children I was drawn to beauty fashion, art, and self-expression from a young age.
At five years old, I famously gave my best friend an impromptu haircut—an early career move that was met with significantly less enthusiasm from the adults involved!
A year after Hurricane Katrina, I decided to take a chance. At 23, I packed my belongings and moved across the country to pursue my passion.
